Homero,

I have to say this.....I tried this ROM for three days and it was just out of the AVATAR style(remember the movie?!)....wonderful theming and visual treat.....it was stable with SP2 from TOPO at 1.2Ghz ...thanks Topo.

and surely you have given us so many of these....the nvflash back to Recover our mobiles....indeed you are one of the RARE GEMS this XDA community has given the users.

THANKS SIR THANKS BUDDY

OMG!! I have to say that this task has made look like a complete retard (not being mean here). But I just hit a WALL. I want to install your ROM over stock V30a using ubuntu linux and when I open menu.sh it just opens on text edit, so I copy all and paste on terminal and I get your first screen Optitool 2 asking me to select engish or spanish and after selecting either one I alwasy get this message:
Elija una opción:
Choose an option: 2bash: ./en.sh: No such file or directory
hector@hector-MacBookPro:~$

And that's it. I really want to have your rooted ROM. Can anyone using linux guide me here?
adb has been installed from software center.

Also when I pull battery off and press + and - vol conect usb cable and release buttons after 5 secs, am I suppose to see something on the phone or computer or hear a noise about this action. Cause nothing happens when i realese the buttons.

Extract the file and you'll get two files, .fls is the baseband and .bin the rom itself.

1.- Flash the baseband [Optional]
Use the following tutorial but use the .fls file downloaded on 0

2.- Flash the rom
Do the same as in step 1 but clicking on "AP Bin" instead of "CP Bin" and selecting the .bin file instead of the .fls file.

3.- Run OptiTool and select option 8 under flash rom.

Or quoting every step in detail:

**The rom: LGP990AT-00-V30a-EUR-XXX-NOV-30-2012+0_AP.bin

1.- Download LG drivers from here and install.

2.- Download Smartflash from here, extract the file and run the program.

3.- Turn off your cellphone, remove battery and while pressing Volume- key plug the usb cable to the computer, you can release as soon as you see a message of Upgrade on the cellphone. On the Smartflash window the COM port should be updated with the corresponding value.

4.- On Smartflash select the "Rom copy/DL" tab, be sure "Normal mode" IS selected and that "Erase Cal" IS NOT selected.

5.- Click the browse button next to "CP Bin" and select *the baseband.
Click "Start" and wait until a green message says "Download complete". You have successfully flashed the 30a baseband.

6.- Just in case unplug the cellphone and close smartflash [I put the battery back on and turned on the cellphone to see everything was ok, completely optional]. Now do steps 3&4 again.

7.- Click the browse button next to "AP Bin" and select **the rom.
Click "Start" and wait until a green message says "Download complete". You have successfuly flashed the 30a rom.

8.- Unplug the cellphone.

9.- Download this file that contains Opti-ICS tool and APX drivers, extract.

10.- Turn off your cellphone, remove the battery and while pressing both Volume- & Volume+ keys, connect the usb cable. Windows will attempt to install the APX drivers automatically, cancel the installation and procede to manually install the drivers downloaded. To do this go to "Device manager" on your control panel, find the APX device, click on Update driver and choose the option to search the drivers on your computer, then select the folder where the downloaded APX drivers are. Procede to next step after installation is over.

11.- Open Opti-ICS tool and select option 2 "Flash rom" and then option 8 "Flash full rom", wait for it to finish.

Sorry if I missed something, all links were taken from the threads.

I personally think it'd suffice to do steps 9-11, the rest is just to flash the latest baseband and smartflash the 30a leak to avoid possible issues but I doubt there would be any.

Grettings.

The V30a ROM comes with disabled data, active data.
What happens to you is: when only unlocks the screen enter the messages, because WiFi is disabled with screen off, select data and this is solved

1 .Right click on menu.sh > Properties > Permissions > Check "Allow executing file as program". Do that for all sh files.
2. Open terminal, navigate to folder where you extracted menu.sh and stuff and run ./menu.sh.

Hope this helps...

For nvflash mode, you can check if anything happens when you connect your phone with one of following ways:

1. Before connecting phone in nvflash mode, run command (in terminal):

tail -f /var/log/syslog

This way you can follow system log live output

2. When you connect your phone run dmesg command in terminal.

3. Hit windows key and search for System logs application (Unity desktop). If you use gnome desktop, then "System" --> "Administration: --> "System logs". On KDE, Alt+F2 > ksystemlog.
